This 100-room resort is located right next door to the Wild Horse Casino. Room rates are reasonable and range from $74.00 - $120.00 per night. A pool and hot tub are located on the first floor and they are a wonderful place to unwind after an evening of fine dining and gaming. Visit the Tamastslikt Cultural Institute. The Tamastslikt (Tah-Must-slicked) Cultural Institute gives you a wonderful walk though the history of the way of life and culture of the Walla Walla, Umatilla and Cayuse tribes. The 45,000 square foot facility will give any visitor a day in the life of these majestic people. Visit exhibits, have coffee and snacks at the Kinship Café, and see 10,000 years of history in this magnificent building. You will not only visit the past but the present and see what the tribe's have in mind for their future. Depending on the time of year and season you may find several additional activities available for participation, like the Tamastslikt's famous Salmon Walk. At Wild Horse Casino there are six eating establishments, the Plateau, Traditions Buffet, Players, Ht Rock Café, The Clubhouse Grill and Wild roast Espresso Bar. No matter what kind of dining you are looking for you can find it at Wild Horse. All of these restaurants are reasonably priced and you can find everything from the romantic to the quick sandwich or even just a cup of Joe and a scone. When you arrive at Wild Horse Resort and Casino and have completed unpacking for your stay, be sure to join the Players Club. Every point earned while actively playing can be used for the purchase of merchandise, dining, lodging, gas and much more. Also being a Players Club member lets the player enjoy automatic tournament entry and entries into special drawings. Just stop by the Club Wild counter to redeem your points for the vouchers you will need. We usually stop at the Wild Horse Resort and Casino on our way to Halfway, Oregon when we go to visit our family and friends. We have on several occasions stayed at the resort and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and wonderful dining at the restaurants. The Tamastslikt Cultural Institute is extremely interesting and teaches a great deal about the life and struggles of the three Tribes represented.
